Remember, after the accident at the 487 kilometer pipeline CAC near the border with Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan issued a statement, which blamed a subsidiary of Gazprom, "Gazprom export", in creating the conditions for an explosion at the CAC. According to the Turkmen side, "Gazprom export" has reduced the volume of gas taken from CAC, which led to an increased load on the gas distribution network.
April 9, evening, RIA Novosti reported that Gazprom export "called the accusations groundless Turkmenistan. Later the same day the message was canceled at the request of "Gazprom export".
Russia buys Turkmen gas and resells it to Europe. Supplying fuel to Ukraine, Russia mixes its own gas from Turkmenistan.
