The Government of Russia will allocate 30 billion rubles to unemployment benefits.

About 90 percent of funds allocated by the Government of Russia in the fight against unemployment, will benefit, Interfax reports with reference to MHSD. This goal will be spent 29.8 billion rubles, while 4.1 billion will go "to implement an active employment policy."
April 9, Prime Minister of Russia Vladimir Putin declared that the Government will allocate additional 34 billion rubles from the federal budget for the sotsobyazatelstv before the Russians lost their jobs. The money will be sent in addition to the 43 billion that had already been earmarked in the budget.
According to the MHSD, the number of officially registered unemployed in the country at the beginning of April was 2199 million.
