EMERCOM cleared Serbia for construction of "the Southern stream".

Specialists of the Russian Ministry of Emergencies on April 7 began demining sites for future trails pipeline "Southern stream", which will link Russia and Europe under the Black Sea. That was reported by RIA Novosti.
According to the Information Office of the Ministry of Emergencies, in the territory of Serbia after the 1999 bombing of NATO aircraft were still many places in need of clearance. Last night was examined in the Serbian part of town Parachin more than three thousand square meters. Explosive devices were found.
"South Stream", the construction of which is Gazprom, together with partners, will be held in Bulgaria on the Black Sea. The carrying capacity of the Southern stream "is estimated at 47 billion cubic meters of gas a year.
March 10, 2009, Prime Minister of Russia Vladimir Putin declared that "the Southern stream" will be completed by 2015, while the cost of the project was approximately 10 billion euro. In early February, "Gazprom said that the construction of the pipeline will cost 25 billion euros.
The project, in addition to Russia, are also involved Bulgaria, Greece, Hungary, Austria and Italy. With Serbia's accession to the "Southern stream" The Russian side agreed in late February 2008.
