Unemployment Russians contributed additional 34 billion rubles.

This statement was made by the Prime Minister of Russia Vladimir Putin, RIA Novosti reported.
Remember, back in early December, Russian Prime during the transfer of "Conversation with Vladimir Putin stated that the authorities will allocate 10-50 billion employment services. These funds will help in part to cope with rising unemployment. In addition, December 29, Vice Prime Minister Alexander Zhukov announced that regional budgets will receive 43.7 billion rubles to maintain the labor market, including the training of employees, creation of temporary jobs and increase unemployment benefits.
According to the MHSD, on 1 April 2009 the number of officially registered unemployed in Russia has reached 2199 million. In doing so, according to an official forecast of the authorities of the country, unemployment in Russia amount to 2.2 million by the end of the year, as in the case of a negative scenario could rise to 2.8 million.
The total number of unemployed Russians at the beginning of April was 6.4 million. It was expected that by the end of the year this figure will increase to 7 million.
At the end of 2008 the State Duma adopted in the third reading a bill providing for an increase in unemployment benefits. From 1 January 2009 the maximum unemployment benefit was raised from 3124 to 4900 rubles.
