Turkmenistan accused Gazprom into a pipeline explosion.

In the explosion, which occurred April 9 in one section of the gas pipeline Central Asia-Center (CAC) in Turkmenistan, blame Gazprom, said in a statement the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic, which leads Interfax.
In a statement the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, inter alia, states that on April 8, the Russian company "Gazexport" (daughter of Gazprom) without prior notification to the Turkmen side has reduced the volume of selected Turkmen natural gas. As a result, at a gas station CAC-4, by which the supply of Turkmen natural gas in Russia, the accident occurred.
Ashgabat called actions of Russia "rash and irresponsible, because first of all it is a real threat to life and health of people and is fraught with unpredictable environmental consequences."
Moreover, Turkmenistan has accused Russia of grave breaches of the contract of sale of gas. According to the agency, this is the first formal statement of the Turkmen side about the accident.
It was reported that the explosion at 487 km to the air passage CAC pipeline near the border with Uzbekistan took place at 01:32 on 9 April. In this regard, the supply of Turkmen gas to Russia ceased.
Gas CAC is located in the territory of Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. With the help of Russia carries out its transit gas from Turkmenistan. The carrying capacity of the pipeline is 80 billion cubic meters of gas a year.
