This stated the Minister of Economic Development of Russia Elvira Nabiullina, reports RIA Novosti. "This and the availability of rehabilitation programs, restructuring, cost reduction, but also a requirement to reduce bonuses for management," - she added.
April 3, 2009 Minister of Finance of Russia Alexey Kudrin said that the bonuses to top managers of Russian goskompany, state bank and goskorporatsy will be frozen for at least two years. In particular, it was a benefit to the outcome of 2008 first and 2009. In doing so, Kudrin noted that the freeze will affect all businesses receiving government subordinated loans, and can be extended to the entire period of the financial and economic crisis.
Later the Central Bank of Russia Chairman Sergei Ignatiev announced that the Central Bank will not grant the State Bank of recommendations for policy and bonus payments of premium top-managers.
