In February goskorporatsiya completed the audit of 244 enterprises of the defense industrial complex, which revealed that the accounts payable of these companies was 73 billion rubles. According Chemezova, stable financial status is only at 36 percent of organizations "defense", while another one third showing signs of bankruptcy.

Goskorporatsiya "Rostehnologii" was created by presidential decree in spring 2008. It will be handed over to share in the 244 and 180 of OAO Russian. Among the assets transferred goskorporatsii included such major corporations as "VSMPO-Avisma, AvtoVAZ and KAMAZ" and "Oboronprom and Russpetsstal.
