The prices of Russian producers have increased.

At the same time, manufacturing prices fell by 0.1 percent after growing at 2.8 percent in February. Most significantly reduce the prices of coke and petroleum products (-5.4 percent).
It should be noted that because of the economic crisis, producer prices in Russia in September, falling steadily. The maximum level of the fall was set in November - 8.4 percent. As a result, on the basis of 2008 for the first time in post-Soviet history, producer prices have fallen - by 7 percent.
The drop in producer prices has not had any noticeable impact on inflation in Russia. During the first two months of 2009 consumer prices rose by 4.1 per cent, while the March increase was still 1.2 per cent. Russian officials are predicting the general level of inflation in 2009 at the level of 13-15 per cent.
