IMF mission called the volume of the second tranche of the loan Ukraine.

In turn, Yulia Tymoshenko said that half of the second tranche will cover the budget deficit. Previously, it was reported that the IMF mission will recommend to his superiors to increase the total credit line for Ukraine.
Recall that the IMF and Ukraine agree on loan to 16.5 billion dollars as early as 2008. The second tranche of the IMF loan was listed in February 2009, but did not do so due to the fact that officials were not able to suit the budget of Ukraine to IMF deficit.
In February, the IMF mission left the Ukraine for consultations with the leadership. As a result of these consultations, the IMF demanded that the Ukraine a number of bills aimed at improving fiscal discipline. Despite the fact that they have not yet been adopted, the IMF mission returned to Kiev on April 8.
According to recent data, the IMF mission will stay in Ukraine even one or two days, then leave for new consultations with the leadership. It was after them and will be decided on the allocation of the next tranche of loan Ukraine. Earlier, Yulia Tymoshenko stated that he considered it appropriate to connect the second and third tranches.
Ukraine asked the IMF loans because of the sharp deterioration of the economy against the backdrop of global financial crisis. Because it has ceased to act in the budget a significant portion of income, but the Government needed additional funds to combat unemployment, losses of banks and other consequences of the crisis.
According to the Deputy Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Mykola Tomenko, a loan from the IMF has been received for 15 years under four per cent annually.
