The CIS countries supported by Russia for a summit abstract G20.

Kudrin said that at a meeting of finance ministers and heads of central banks of CIS were discussed and some suggestions that Russia was voiced at the summit of the Greater twenty. In particular, the CIS countries have agreed to harmonize their policies with Russia in areas of mutual trade, investment and loans.
One of the central proposals of Russia to the summit of G20 has been the introduction of a single world currency, or expand the list of reserve currencies. This, according to Russian officials, would help reduce the dependence of the global economy from the dollar. Such a proposal was made, and China, but in several major economies of the world have already stated that they would not discuss the creation of a new reserve currency for the Summit.
According to Kudrin, within the CIS is necessary to develop mutual payments in the currencies of the States Parties. The Minister of Finance acknowledged that talk of creating a single currency in the territory of CIS countries is still too early.
Previously, Russia had already made several attempts to abandon the dollar in the calculations with their neighbors. In particular, the Russian press in October 2008 reported that Russia agreed with Belarus on the calculation of gas and oil in rubles. In doing so, the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that the ruble could become a regional reserve currency.
