Belarusian industrial enterprises, which sell their products to the domestic market, will now receive money for it only 60 days. The decision, according to the said, was in the government of the country.
As stated by Deputy Minister of Trade, Mikhail Sventitsky arrangements in this regard have been achieved with the near and far abroad, Bellesbumprom and Belarusian. The question, he said, agreed with the Ministry of Industry.
This measure is believed to the Belarusian authorities, encourages dealers to take on the implementation of domestic products and help reduce the share of imported products in the retail trade turnover. According to Sventitsky, the Ministry of Trade is developing a range of measures to increase the share of Belarusian goods on the domestic market. "In the trading network is a lot of imports, without which it is possible to do. This, for example, mineral water, soft drinks, mayonnaise, margarine and other" - said the official. All of these products, as noted Sventitsky, in sufficient quantities are produced in Belarus.
Recall that to limit the spread of the imported goods (and, consequently, increase the share of domestic production), the Belarusian authorities are trying to start with the 2000-ies. One of the most recent step was the establishment of the list of goods, import of which the Ministry of Trade considers "unreasonable." In the list, how to write "Nezavisimaya Gazeta, included, inter alia, yoghurt, cheese, curd, sweets, pasta, ravioli, mayonnaise, ice cream and beer, as well as bicycles, televisions, watches and furniture.
The Ministry stated that the formal ban on the importation of these products it is not. However, local officials have been instructed to review the lease of storage facilities to companies engaged in "unreasonable import. Ministry of Economy, in turn, proposes to raise customs duties on a range of consumer goods (what specifically, have not yet installed). At the same time for Russian products, according to the "Charter'97, officials will still make an exception.
With regard to the economic crisis, the Belarusian producers become harder to realize their products. The volume of production, which is in warehouses continue to grow. According to the FMSA, as of 1 March 2009 the ratio of stocks of finished products and the average output in the actual prices were 91.3 per cent. On March 1, 2008; the figure was only 52 per cent. Recently, Belarusian media reported that some enterprises have been paid to issue products - tinned meat and onion.
Note that the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has repeatedly criticized the producers of low quality products. In 2007, for example, he stated that he was "scared to look at products of the Belarusian light industry.
