Purchase price for food wheat in 2009 amount to 5,5-6 thousand rubles per ton, depending on region and class of products. This statement was made by the Minister of Agriculture of Russia Elena Skrynnik on the board of the Ministry on 30 March, reports RIA Novosti. Rye in the state estimated 3.9 thousand rubles per ton.
This price level is the minimum for the so-called grain interventions. Through such interventions the state could regulate and stabilize prices for grain, buying products from farmers in the event of declining prices and vbrasyvaya "grain on the market in case of increase of its value.
According to Skrynnik, for the purchase interventions in the current year allocated about 20 billion rubles. Procurement Ministry of Agriculture would determine at a later date, based on the prevailing market situation.
Purchasing state intervention began in 2008. Prior to this, the Government tried to reduce the prices of grain due to massive sales and export restrictions. Restriction on sale of grain abroad was lifted in July 2008.
