Industrial production in Ukraine collapsed by 16 per cent per month.

In 2008, the Ukrainian economy, foreign investors have invested 10911 billion of FDI, which is 25.3 percent more revenue in 2007. At the same time the EU was 8766 billion (80.3 per cent of the total), from the CIS - 0933 billion (8.6 percent).
At the same time in 2008, residents have seized the capital in the amount of $ 0.845 trillion, which is 28,3% lower than a year earlier.
The total amount of FDI in Ukraine as of 1 January 2008 amounted to 35.723 trillion, which is 20.9 percent higher than at the beginning of the year. Per person of FDI is estimated at 775.3 dollars compared to 812.1 quarter earlier, said Goskomstat.
The amount of credits and loans received by Ukraine from direct investors, in the fourth quarter fell to 0.252 trillion dollars, or 4.6 percent.
Total foreign direct investment, including loan capital, on 1 January 2008 amounted to 40,957 billion dollars, compared with 43,107 billion as at 1 October the same year.
