Verkhovna Rada on 17 February by majority vote approved a petition for the resignation of head of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine Victor Pinzenyk, transmits "Interfax".
Such a decision supported by 238 deputies out of 439 took part in voting on Tuesday (the Party of Regions - 1, BYUT - 154, NU-NS - 37, CPU - 27, Block Litvina - 19 votes).
The decision was seen in the absence of Pinzenik as it is in the hospital and asked to consider the question of his resignation without personal presence in the room.
Head of Finance, recall, announced his resignation on 12 February. In it, he explained, that became a hostage of political situation in the country, does not agree with the Government's fiscal policy, and denied the opportunity to influence the situation.
"In such circumstances, my continued tenure as finance minister does not make sense. In this connection, I filed an application to the Verkhovna Rada on his resignation," - explained the Minister.
In late 2008, became aware of the differences between the leadership of the Government and the Minister of Finance on the draft state budget-2009. Officially they are not commented upon, the Minister was at the hospital, and the draft budget in Parliament presented himself Prime Yulia Tymoshenko.
In January, the Ukrainian press memorandum addressed to the Prime Minister, which reported that the situation in the country's economy - is extremely difficult, and for its stabilization requires urgent and unpopular measures - such as the sequestration budget.
However, the Government has ignored this message, vowing that the adopted budget will be implemented.
