Russian President Dmitry Medvedev announced that in the near future the authorities will start from May to September, to pay pensioners and young people the Far East about half the cost of air tickets to Moscow, St. Petersburg and Sochi. This February 19, reports "Interfax".
According to Medvedev, the right to receive the discounts students aged 12 to 23 years of age and older people aged over 60 years. "It's a decent discount, especially bearing in mind that tickets to the Far East - is very expensive," - remarked the President. Now the cost of tickets to the center of the country's Far Eastern cities is about 20 thousand rubles.
The purpose of introducing a system of discounts - the Far East to provide opportunities to youth and the elderly to fully relax during the holidays and vacations. Will the subsidy granted in 2009, it is not clear. Medvedev did not name specific dates, he only said that the decision to grant discounts already taken, but its implementation will begin shortly.
