The Russian budget for 2009 will receive funds from targeted programs in 2008.

The Government of Russia intends to ban the transfer of about 340 billion rubles, unencumbered in the performance of federal programs in 2008, 2009, writes the newspaper Kommersant. Instead, the funds will be forwarded to the federal budget revenues from February 1, 2009.
