Prime Minister of Russia Vladimir Putin appointed Igor Kriskovtsa general director of Russian Rosspirtprom, reports RIA Novosti. He was succeeded by Igor Chuyana, which was transferred to head the Federal Service for the Regulation of Alcohol Market ( "Rosalkogol). Until 2007, Igor Kriskovets held the post of general director of the "Crystal".
The fact that Igor Chuyanov headed "Rosalkogol", became known on Jan. 21, 2009. Two days earlier, Vladimir Putin signed the corresponding decree. Chuyana addition to the chapter "Rosalkogolya" claimed Deputy Agriculture Minister Nikolai Arkhipov, head of the department of agro-industrial complex in the Government Igor Ruden and Adviser to the Minister of Defense Catherine Priezzheva.
"Rosalkogol" was established in December 2008. The purpose of the federal service is the development and implementation of public policy and regulation in the production of and trafficking in alcoholic beverages. Previous supervisory responsibilities in this area have been given several departments, including the Federal Customs Service, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Economic Development.
Russian Rosspirtprom was established in 2000 and in December 2007 a decision was made to its privatization, which is scheduled for completion in February of this year. Under "Rosspirtproma" are of state enterprises in the alcohol industry.
