In the first quarter of 2009 in Russia decreased production volumes of both oil and gas. This is the agency "Interfax" referring to the data summaries "CDU TEK" (central dispatch of fuel and energy complex).
Crude oil with gas condensate in Russia for the first quarter fell by 1.1 per cent to 120 million tons. Gaza Russian company produced just over 153 billion cubic meters, which is 15 percent less than during the same period last year.
Decreased production is linked to the decline in demand for Russian commodities in a global financial crisis. This led to a drop in oil and gas prices on the global market, so domestic companies not only produce less hydrocarbons, but also to receive them less.
In addition, data on the first quarter was influenced and "gas war" with Ukraine, which fuel transit through Ukraine to Europe stopped for two weeks. Even more - three weeks - did not receive gas from Russia and Ukraine itself.
Previously, it was reported that some large companies decline in production was very significant. For example, in "Gazprom" by mid-March, the average extraction fell by a quarter compared with the year 2008.
Recall that in 2008 oil production in Russia fell by 0.7 per cent to 488.1 million tons.
