Continuing: Supply of gas to Turkey and Bulgaria restored
Deliveries of gas to the Balkans will be fully restored within two to five days after the repairs the damaged pipeline in Transnistria. This is stated in the official press release, "Naftogaz Ukraine", published on the site. Because of the accident, which occurred April 1, the volume of shipments declined by 40 percent.
The message "Naftogaz" noted that by 16:00 Moscow time on April 1, expected to resume gas supply to 85-90 percent. So far, no confirmation of this.
Now the transit flow of fuel diverted to neighboring pipelines "Shebelinka, Dnepropetrovsk, Krivoy Rog, Ishmael," and "Razdolne-Ishmael."
Remember, an explosion at a gas station pipe "Ananyev-Odessa-Ismail, near Tiraspol, occurred the morning of April 1. As noted in the message, "Naftogaz", the transit of gas through the pipeline does not stop, but for a few hours was reduced by 30 per cent. The reason for the accident is not yet known.
Earlier, Russia's Gazprom announced that the reduction of fuel supply to Turkey through the Balkans would be offset by increasing volumes of gas pumped by the "Blue Stream". Daily volume of transit gas supplies to the Balkan countries - Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Greece and Macedonia - is up to 36 million cubic meters.
