As of 1 April 2009 the aggregate amount of the fund amounted to 4117 trillion rubles, a month earlier in the Reserve Fund is 4869 trillion rubles.
During the same period by 80 billion rubles reduced national welfare fund: March 1, its volume is 2995 trillion rubles, April 1 - 2915 trillion.
Earlier, the head of the Federal Treasury Roman Artyukhin said that in March of the Reserve Fund to cover the federal budget deficit for 2009 will be spent 600 billion rubles. In April, to cover the deficit projected to spend 600 billion rubles in May - 400 billion rubles.
Recall, 31 March, the Russian government has adjusted to the State Duma a draft budget for 2009. It provides for a deficit of 7.4 percent of GDP - about 3 trillion rubles. The difference between income and expenditure of State is scheduled to be met from the Contingency Fund and borrowings.
Reserve Fund and Fund of national well-being have been established in February 2008 on the basis of Stabilization. Their amount at that time amounted to 3.05 trillion rubles and 783 billion rubles, respectively.
