A group of American governors, Republicans refused to federal grants to benefit the unemployed, says USA Today. In addition to Texas Governor Rick Perry, the money given to Senford Mark (Mark Sanford) from South Carolina, Bobby Dzhindel of Louisiana, Haley Barbour (Haley Barbour) of Mississippi and Bob Riley (Bob Riley) from Alabama.
The federal plan to stimulate the economy, valued at 787 billion dollars to help the unemployed in different states is approximately 7 billion. Conservative governors were unwilling to accept these funds, because the conditions that are included in the plan, legislators, an increase of taxation of business.
Democrats and representatives of Trade Unions condemned the decision of the Governor and confirmed that it had taken to the detriment of citizens lost their jobs.
