Sechin proposed the introduction of OPEC representatives from Russia.

Russia invited to delegate a representative to the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC). This, according to RIA Novosti, said March 15 in Vienna, Vice-Premier of Russian Federation Igor Sechin, who attended the conference with OPEC.
According to him, Russia offers a variety of forms of representation, of a special observer or representative of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation in the secretariat of the cartel.
The presence of the observer will build operational ties with OPEC, Sechin believes. Vice-premier added that discussed this issue in bilateral meetings with ministers of energy, OPEC, and felt their support.
Earlier, before the conference, Igor Sechin said that the proposed cartel to sell Russian oil, but also announced the intention of the authorities of the Russian Federation to reduce oil exports.
