Obama called on Congress to support his plan to rescue the American economy.

At his first news conference as U.S. President Barack Obama on Monday called on Congress to support his plan to rescue the U.S. economy, reported CNN on 9 February.
"I want to encourage all members of Congress to act without delay and this week, reconciled contradictions, to approve the plan," - said Obama.
According to Obama, his plan was not perfect, but it should help to further create four million jobs. The American President stressed that the support will focus on strategically important for the country projects such as repairing roads and bridges, as well as the development of alternative energy sources. In doing so, he specifically noted that 90 percent of jobs will be created in the private rather than public sector.
Earlier Monday, the Senate majority, decided to close the debate on the pattern of Obama on Tuesday and appointed a vote directly on the bill.
Obama plan includes an infusion of dollars into the economy 838 billion dollars. More polutrilliona dollars will go into direct investment, and the remaining amount will be spent on tax breaks for businesses. The project was proposed by Obama in mid-January and 28 January, was approved by the House of Representatives of the U.S. Congress.
Obama has repeatedly stated that expects to sign a project approved by Congress, not later than 16 February.
