Ministry of Finance of Russia supports the proposal to limit payment of dividends by companies with gosuchastiem. This statement was made by Vice-Premier and Finance Minister Alexey Kudrin, informs "Interfax" agency.
According to Kudrin, in a crisis goskompanii may invest the net profits in their own development, rather than send it to the payment of dividends. "I am speaking in general, I do not speak to each company," - added the Minister of Finance.
Remember, in mid-December 2008 the Federal Agency for Management of State Property (Rosimuschestvo) has proposed the Ministry of Economic Development to review the policy of dividend payments goskompany. In the Rosimuschestve said that because of the crisis, the State may opt out of receiving their share of dividends by any goskompany outside the twenty largest.
At the same time, it was reported that in the case of review of the dividend payments to the Russian budget may be lost in 2009 about 20 billion rubles. In 2007, state revenues from dividends totaled about 55 billion rubles. Total in Russia, there are 1120 companies with gosuchastiem.
