In 2008, the Russian budget because of crimes related to tax evasion, not more than 50 billion rubles. That was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the information department of economic security for the Russian Federation Ministry of Internal Affairs.
In just the past year has been committed by 15 thousand of such crimes, the total damage of which amounted to 51 billion rubles. In doing so, three quarters of this amount was reimbursed to the state.
In total in January-November 2008, transferred to the NRF Russia 7,87 trillion rubles of taxes and fees. Data for the last quarter of last year there, but it can be assumed that the growth rate of collection of tax revenues has slowed down due to financial crisis. The sharp decline in profits the companies would adversely affect the collection of VAT, but the fall in oil prices had a negative impact on commodity taxes.
