He made this statement at a meeting on the development of dairy farming, reports RIA Novosti.
According to him, the first Ministry of Economic Development and the Ministry of Agriculture should agree with Belarus on joint actions in the agricultural industry. He added that Russia and Belarus signed a five-year plan of supply, production and consumption of basic agricultural products. However, the Belarusian side does not perform, in particular by supporting their milk production.
In autumn 2008, Russia has granted Belarus a credit of two billion dollars, with the first tranche has already received in December. In late January, the Russian side promised to expedite the issuance of the second half of the funds. A key condition for obtaining loans has become a transition to the Russian Ruble in the calculations on oil and gas.
Since then, Belarus has requested another loan, this time amounting to 100 billion rubles. First, the Russian Ministry of Finance refused to grant the same amount of Minsk, but then became aware that this request is under consideration by the Russian authorities.
