Gordon Brown urged to change the IMF and World Bank.

Such organizations as the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank must be substantially changed in order to help the global economy to cope with upcoming challenges. The statement was made by British Prime Minister Gordon Brown. Its words transmits Reuters.
According to Brown, the changing international financial institutions is needed to avoid future crises. British Premier said that the IMF and World Bank were created as part of a local, not global capital movements.
Brown has not provided a precise plan for the reform of financial institutions, but noted that it would address the financing issues of data structures. In particular, we are talking about interaction with the Arab countries, as well as, perhaps, with sovereign funds.
During the financial crisis, the IMF and World Bank have been actively assisting countries in need, providing them with loans for tens of billions of dollars. In particular, funds received, Pakistan, Ukraine, Iceland and several other states. In this regard, the accounts of the international financial institutions has been significantly less, so they may need additional funding.
Recall that the current world financial system was largely created in 1944, when 45 countries signed the Bretton Woods agreement. It then emerged the World Bank and IMF.
