"Rosatom" and Siemens could create the world's largest nuclear company.

Prime Minister Vladimir Putin of Russia on 3 February launched negotiations "Rosatom" and German concern Siemens to create a joint venture (JV) in the field of nuclear technology, writes "Rossiyskaya Gazeta" . SP may be the world's largest nuclear company, notes the publication.
In late January, Siemens announced that out of the joint venture with French Areva, and began to search for a new international partner. At the meeting on 3 February with the leadership of Siemens, Putin said that Russia is ready for a "full partnership" with the German company, reported RIA Novosti.
According to the head of Rosatom Sergei Kiriyenko, the Russian association goskorporatsii and Siemens will significantly enhance the position of both sides in the world market. As recalled Kirienko, Rosatom and Siemens are already cooperating in the field of nuclear technology. In particular, the German company has supplied equipment for the construction Rosatom in Bulgarian NPP "Belene".
