Russia before the deadline will list the second tranche of the loan to Belarus billion. The statement was made by Prime Minister Vladimir Putin of Russia, informs RIA Novosti. The specific term that has not been named.
In November 2008, Russia agreed to provide Belarus stabilization loan from the two billion dollars. One of the conditions of transition to become the Russian Ruble in the payment of oil and gas. Thus, Belarus will have to buy the Russian currency to mutual with Russia. The first tranche of the loan was received by the Republic on 18 November 2008.
This loan granted for 15 years on the London interbank lending rate Libor plus three percentage points. In addition, there is a delay in repayment of principal for five years.
Meanwhile, Vladimir Putin and his Belarusian counterpart Sergei Sidorsky signed in Moscow a joint crisis plan, which, according to Sidorsky will contribute to "the preservation of the economies of both countries at the level of 2008."
