According to Kupriyanova, the relationship of the parties under the contract are within the scope of the Swedish law, and the fate of these agreements could only deal with the Stockholm arbitration. Chairman of the Russian monopoly Alexey Miller added that at the conclusion of an independent examination, the contract on transit of gas is valid until the end of 2010, says agency Interfax.

January 5, Kupriyanov said that the general shortage of fuel in Europe is already 60 million cubic meters.
Earlier, Gazprom said gas deliveries to the Russian-Ukrainian border to January 5, declining to 65.3 million cubic meters of illegally selected Ukraine. In doing so, the Russian concern to European consumers to compensate for the reduction of supply by increasing the transit via Belarus, Poland and Turkey.
