Armenia has asked Russia and three billion dollars to banks.

Armenia has asked Russia, the World Bank, Asian Development Bank and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development loan for a billion dollars to counter the effects of the global financial crisis. That was reported by Interfax, citing an anonymous source in the government of Armenia.
The same source said that talks between Russia and Armenia on the allocation of credit under way since late December 2008. Another loan - for two billion dollars - Armenia wants to take from China.
The fact that Armenia has asked stabilization loan from Russia, was first announced on January 22 with the words, Vice-Premier and Finance Minister Alexei Kudrin, Russia. The official refused to talk about the parameters of the alleged transaction.
In 2008, Russia agreed to provide a stabilization loan of Belarus. Its volume reached two billion dollars, with one billion Russia has already allocated, while another billion received by Belarus in 2009.
