Moscow authorities have approved retail gas prices to the population in 2009, reported Interfax, citing the statement of regional energy commissions. The price of gas used for heating by using appliances to rise by 25 per cent from 1.59 rubles to 1.99 rubles.
The gas used in stoves or columns podorozhaet also by a quarter - up to 2.93 rubles. Otpuskaemoe for other purpose fuel rises in price by 21 per cent - from 1.65 to two rubles.
The established retail prices do not apply to natural gas, which is used in central heating.
According to Rosstat, in the first 10 months of 2008 gas prices for Muscovites increased by 22.9 per cent, which was the largest growth among all service utilities.
